Project Life: Week 6, 7 & 8

Wow! I seriously cannot believe I am 3 weeks behind in posting my picture of the day project. As you can see we have been very busy.  We snuck in a little trip to Mexico to pick up our son who just completed a 5 month mission trip.  It was so fun to meet all of his amazing friends and just enjoy a little warm weather.  I got to shoot a second session for the very cool clothing company: I/O Bio for their spring and fall lines.  I’ll post the link again when they have all of the new images up on their website. I also attended our annual Women’s Retreat for our church, which was a blast!

Well, I’ve got lot’s of senior sessions coming up, so stay tuned . . .  (and have a fabulous weekend!)

Loveshoot = Jean-Phillipe + Sarvia
International Wedding Photographer

Ha Ha – Do you like my sub-title above?  It sounds so impressive ;o)  Let me give you a little background on this amazing couple . . . Two years ago we went to Mexico with some friends to build a home for a needy family.  While we were hangin’ out on the YWAM base, we met Jean-Phillipe.  We were all so blown away by his love for God, and the amazing life he lived both before and after becoming a missionary.  He is also a very talented photographer, you can check out his work HERE.  He is originally from Switzerland, but has traveled the world and captured beautiful images of the people along the way.  Fast forward to 2010 and my son, Cortlyn, just finished a DTS (a 5 month mission with YWAM) and Jean-Phillipe & Sarvia were leaders for the lecture phase of his mission.  We traveled to Mexico last week for his graduation and I was so excited when JP asked me to do some engagement pictures for them.  I only just met Sarvia, but my son tells me she is an amazing leader.  They are leading another DTS right now and will be headed to India soon.  Then back home to Mexico for a wedding, and after that . . . watch out world!IMG_2061IMG_2048IMG_2038IMG_2015IMG_1999IMG_1988IMG_1963IMG_1972IMG_1962IMG_2025IMG_1960IMG_1958IMG_2073

Meet Nick from Weiser High
Weiser, Idaho Senior Photographer

I had a great session today with Nick – and his mom tagged along as the official “wardrobe holder”.  (She did a great job, by the way!)  It was beautiful light and actually pretty warm.  If you are a 2010 Weiser High Senior, it’s not too late to get your senior portraits done.  Just contact me and I can squeeeeeze you in before they are due.  Thanks Nick & Cris, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek. ;o)warzyn-125warzyn-103warzyn-122warzyn-114warzyn-138warzyn-137warzyn-145

Project Life – Week 4

So, I’m not sure how exciting these posts are, but my son (who is 6,000 miles from home) asks me every week when I am going to post my pictures of the day. I have even been including some of his photos from his trip.  Unfortunately his camera was stolen last week, so he was pretty bummed about that.  He’ll be home in 3 more weeks and we are very excited about that!  week 4

Project Life: Week 3

Don’t they say after 28 days of doing something, it will be a new habit and you will stick with it?  Well, so far I have stuck with my picture of the day, my daily bible reading, and going to the gym.  So it should be a piece of cake from here on out, right?  If only it was that easy.  Have a great weekend everybody! week3

Meet the “O” Family
Fruitland, Idaho Family Photographer

Okay, all together now . . . Awwwwwwwe.  Isn’t that the cutest thing?  I just love this family.  I did Nick’s senior pictures a while back and I finally got to photograph all the kids.  The older boys were so sweet with the little kids – and they were such troopers.  It seemed like it was going to be a nice day, but the wind was so cold.  oneil-110oneil-162

Winter Mini Session
Weiser, Idaho Family Photographer

This was seriously a 15-20 minute session!  It was cold AND rainy.  You might remember Alton, from his senior pictures.  Well, his older brother, Anthony, was getting ready to deploy to Afghanistan so their mom wanted to get a few nice pictures.  We also snuck grandma in for a few.  What a sweet family . . . and please keep Anthony in your prayers along with all of the young men & women who bravely serve our country and keep us safe.Collage - 5 Image - B
