Yes, I am still alive! You wouldn’t know it if you check my very neglected blog lately. I’m so sorry - life has just gotten too busy and I keep thinking I should be blogging this craziness, but it just doesn’t happen. Sonnet & I traveled to LaJolla recently to shoot an amazing wedding so check back and I will have some fun images up for you to see soon. I also have LOTS of weeks of project life to share, but first, I wanted to share Erika’s session from a few days ago. This is Erika’s “spring” session. We had a session last fall and we have just been waiting for her very busy schedule to clear a little so we could get together. Love her cowboy hat and LOVE LOVE LOVE her prom dress/softball combo . . .

Can you say supermodel? We even had enough of a breeze to give her the “look”. She has the most beautiful eyes, in fact I kept staring at them while editing and then it dawned on me . . . she has Edward Cullen eyes! lol! I’m very excited because next week we are doing round II – Cowgirl Pictures!! I can’t wait!

That would be her boyfriend, Luke. He was the best assistant ever. Packing around my reflector and doing WHATEVER it took to get Nataly to smile.

Wow! Can you say gorgeous? Stormy has the most beautiful eyes and was such a natural in front of the camera. It was an absolutely beautiful spring day and besides the fact that we nearly got ran over, it was a great session!

I can’t believe Taylor is graduating. His parents are dear friends of mine from high school, and it just doesn’t seem like it was 20 years ago we were crazy teenagers! Well, Taylor is a great kid – he’s an awesome golfer and football player and works hard for their family business . Congrats Taylor – we are all very proud of you!

I had a great session today with Nick – and his mom tagged along as the official “wardrobe holder”. (She did a great job, by the way!) It was beautiful light and actually pretty warm. If you have checked my blog in the last month or so, you probably remember Paige. We had a great fall session and her mom opted for a second session to just focus on some fun/silly stuff to really capture her personality. We did a mini Trash The Dress session. Yes, it was November, it was freezing, and Paige was sitting in that stream! There were no stunt doubles for this shot! lol! She was such a good sport ;o)
