Yes, I am still alive! You wouldn’t know it if you check my very neglected blog lately. I’m so sorry - life has just gotten too busy and I keep thinking I should be blogging this craziness, but it just doesn’t happen. Sonnet & I traveled to LaJolla recently to shoot an amazing wedding so check back and I will have some fun images up for you to see soon. I also have LOTS of weeks of project life to share, but first, I wanted to share Erika’s session from a few days ago. This is Erika’s “spring” session. We had a session last fall and we have just been waiting for her very busy schedule to clear a little so we could get together. Love her cowboy hat and LOVE LOVE LOVE her prom dress/softball combo . . .

Wow! Can you say gorgeous? Stormy has the most beautiful eyes and was such a natural in front of the camera. It was an absolutely beautiful spring day and besides the fact that we nearly got ran over, it was a great session!

I can’t believe Taylor is graduating. His parents are dear friends of mine from high school, and it just doesn’t seem like it was 20 years ago we were crazy teenagers! Well, Taylor is a great kid – he’s an awesome golfer and football player and works hard for their family business . Congrats Taylor – we are all very proud of you!

Oh, the memories this brought back ;o) Had a super quick mini session with my cousin’s adorable girls. They were so cute in their cheerleading outfits and we tried to be super quick because it was freeeeeezing. Oh, but little did they know I would have them warmed up by the time we were done . . .

I would love to say that they only had to jump 4 times for these next 4 pictures. But it was probably more like 44!

Oh my! Today was a great day! Erika, her mom, & I are walking around downtown taking pictures and I happen to look in the second hand store and see this fabulous gold loveseat! I have been wanting something like this for a while but everything I find is soooo expensive. I got a really good deal, so I was pretty happy. I think the store owner was a little surprised when we hauled it right into the alley and started taking pictures on it! Can you even believe how gorgeous Erika is? I know she wasn’t “feeling” the serious ones, but so far, they are some of my favorites!

Justin is a super outstanding kid from New Plymouth and his step-mom just happens to be one of my best friends from high school. In fact, she is due to have TWINS in just a few short weeks. After we were done with Justin, we snuck in a couple of her super cute belly – scroll down to see ;o)
